The MSI welcomes students from all over the world with an interest in the content side of meetings, meeting design, Meeting Architecture.
Her daily, weekly and monthly work at the Meeting Support Institute combines multiple and different kinds of tasks. She updates and publishes articles in the MSI knowledge base that are connected with the latest news and improvement of effectiveness and ROI in t meetings.
Regarding MSI Members: she follows their activity trying to understand their needs and questions or issues they might have. She also helps Member recruitment.
Mireia also works and follows up different kind of projects that are linked to the MSI like MSI Board; a monthly on-line meeting with 7 professionals in the industry.
She has started a new project investigating the next Meeting Content Conference, which is aiming at adding value and spreading the knowledge of the MSI.
Mireia also took part in different Meetings and Tradeshows as:
1. Let’s Go Hybrid in April 2010, Brussels. Taking part as a participant in a workshop about Hybrid Meetings.
2. IMEX Frankfurt 2010.
- She has organized the successful Meeting Content Dinner with Maarten Vanneste. Some of the tasks were: venue and menu selection, participant list management and the timing of the dinner, which combined functional fun and speeches. And last but not least the event communication management.
- Meeting Support Institute stand setting up in coordination with the tradeshow’s sales team. Main contact person in the stand, bookstore, membership recruitment, explanation about what Meeting Support Institute does, and Meeting Architecture is.
She is going to be involved in the next tradeshows:
- Technology for Events. June.
- EiBTM. December.
Mireia Iglesias was born near the city of Bilbao in 1987. After a degree in Advertising and Public Relations and one year in Milano, she decided to continue her studies in a postdegree in Congress, Events and Fairs Management in the University of Deusto, Bilbao. And after that, realizing that she would be interested in having more insight in many different areas of the meeting industry she joined the Meeting Support Institute for her internship.. She is also fascinated in industry innovations such as new technological tolos and programs which enhance the meeting industry.
